These bright and beautiful rugs are made from recycled cloth and hand crafted by the talented Gahani in her home, in Southern Sri Lanka, using traditional methods. The rugs are made using factory remnants. Made in small batches so no one rug is the same, sizes vary slightly. Each rug is unique and will add a pop of colour to a room. They can be used as small floor rugs, bathmats, as well as to sit pot plants on top.
We love that these rugs are washable too!

Our Commitment
We are conscious about mass production and waste in the textile industry. We are striving for our textile pieces to either been made with 100% organic cotton fabric, or bamboo and handloomed by skilled women in Sri Lanka. We ensure that the cotton and linen fabrics used have been produced in a way that reduces the impact both on the planet and the people – meaning it is organic and made with natural non-toxic dyes, as well as being handloomed using traditional methods. The skilled women who are involved in weaving and sewing our textiles have good working conditions, are fairly paid and empowered through education and opportunities to have agency over their own lives.
