How it all began..
We fell in love with Sri Lanka while visiting in 2023. Our family were welcomed with warmth and kindness. Whilst exploring the country we observed resourcefulness, talent and beauty across communities. Feeling inspired we returned to the UK with new friendships and a motivation to showcase some of Sri Lanka’s talent, whilst being able to give something back to local communities.

Our commitment
From the profits Poya makes we hope to be able to give back to the communities Poya products are made in.
To date, we have provided support to a school for disabled children in Sri Lanka. Also provided employment to individuals as well as partnering with established companies in Sri Lanka to provide fair work opportunities.
Next, we hope to gift locally made toys that can bring about hours of imaginative play and comfort, to children in Sri Lanka.
